Gender Neutral Baby Registry Essentials

Type “baby registry essentials” into your search bar and you will likely be met with thousands of lists chock full of recommendations from mainstream to niche publications, parenting experts, first, second and even third-time parents themselves and everyone in between. What you do and don’t need for a new baby seems to be a very hotly debated subject and most who engage in the conversation have (for very good reasons!) a list of their tried and true favorites.

When I started contemplating what we would need for our baby while keeping our living situation (a NYC apartment!) in mind I scoured the internet and perused more retailers’ sites than I care to admit to and came up with this list below. I wanted to keep my registry as minimal as possible both in what I included and in style. I also wanted everything to be gender neutral as we didn’t know if we were having a boy or a girl!
