Travel Guide: Chicago

Every year we head someplace for a long weekend around M's birthday. This year, during a Delta sale back in January we landed on Chicago. We both kind of forgot about it until a few weeks ago, when during the moving chaos we questioned out sanity, but all-in-all it was great to get away for a few days.

The Virgin Hotel
The first in a new hotel group from Richard Branson (yes, same Virgin group as the airline), this was a fun twist on your typical big-city hotel. Yes, there were some management issues they need to get sorted out, communication between the different teams was a bit lacking, but we really liked a lot of the amenities, and the location was fantastic.
